Charlotte helped make church a friendly place and was one of the first people to greet us when we first visited Chester Christian Center. I especially remember chatting with her during an Election Day as she often volunteered to greet voters and help with coffee and cookies. Charlotte encouraged me to pray as she modeled how a Christian should pray in every moment and circumstance. Can’t wait to see you in heaven! Love, Dave Gorski

What a beautiful, faithful, and strong woman! I used to call her my West Virginie friend because I loved her special voice. We were friends from church and had many good memories (especially from sitting together at some church business meetings). My heart is heavy that sweet Charlotte had to suffer that horrible dementia/strokes these last years - but my heart rejoices that she is made whole because she put her trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. I smile when I think of the reunion between her and Bud. Reading the obituary I learned even more things I didn't know about her life. I pray comfort for the family and for all of us to honor Charlotte's memory by living each day fully and looking for that divine appointment to share the love of Christ with someone.

Charlotte and Bud were two of the most beautiful people I've ever known! They were both so loving, encouraging, and kind. Both of them loved people, especially Jesus. Charlotte would share Jesus with anyone. I had the privilege of being their pastor for a couple years before taking another church. What a great woman... an exemplary follower of Jesus. The world could use more people like both of them! I'm so sorry to learn of her passing... :(
Pastor Stefan Sawczak left a message on November 20, 2022:
Charlotte and her husband Bud were members of our Church in Chesterland. She was such and encouragement and prayer warrior. Whenever I would speak with her she would always tell me she was praying for me, my wife and our family. Even in the days of recovering from strokes she would minister to people in the hospitals, rehab units and care facilities. She will be missed but we are grateful she is in Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ whom she loved above all else and her family and friends. What a legacy she left for us all! Pastor Steve

I am so sorry for the loss of this remarkable woman. Not only is your family grieving, but I am certain many others are going to miss the love and compassion she showed throughout her life to those who needed it. She is all well again and rejoicing with her loved ones who went to be with God before her. Rest assured you will all meet up again some day.
