Charline Ruth Heiden (nee: Hazen), age 89 of Chardon, Ohio passed away on December 7, 2020 at Residence of Chardon. Born May 13, 1931 to Milton and Beatrice (nee: Daigen) Hazen. She married Robert W. Heiden on May 9, 1953. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1988.

Charline worked in the title office for Geauga County Clerk of Courts for many years retiring in 1996. She always loved watching her children playing sports. She attended every game from baseball, football, wrestling, and softball. She loved to bowl. She was the Treasurer for the Maple Festival from the 1970’s to 2004. She was a member of the Pilgrim Christian Church where she also was the Treasurer. Charline was a 76-year member of the Geauga County Fair Band where she enjoyed playing the clarinet.

She is survived by her sons, Larry (Sonya) Heiden of Munson Township, OH, Gary Heiden of Chardon, OH and Perry Heiden of Chardon, OH; Grandchildren, Jason (Cori Detweiler) Heiden of Burton, OH, Jaime Lawson of Burton, OH, Bobby (Rachel) Heiden of Burton, OH, Jessie (Josh) Breedlove of Windsor, OH, Jackie (Fred Buck) Heiden of Hambden, OH, Katie (Rob Sharp) Heiden of Chardon, OH, Deanna (John Gambrell) Heiden of Cincinnati, OH, Michelle (Matt Sumner) Heiden of Cincinnati, OH. 16 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter in law, Linda Heiden and sister, Barbara Ricca.

Due to the current Covid-19 situation the family will be having private family services which can be viewed through the Burr Funeral Home website at www.burrservice.com on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Chardon Municipal Cemetery. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Remember, instead, of all the years your Mom worked to further Jesus Christ in your life and lives of those at Pilgrim Christian Church in Chardon, and give Him the Glory now for her transition into paradise. It is the real deal she lived for. Merry Christmas in these tough times as well, knowing for her this is a very merry time. Guaranteed.
