I remember going camping all the time with Brad, riding bikes, babysitting him and just watching him be a kid :). It is not fair or right what happened to him and he will be missed. I hope that the investigation brings some changes in the system to help any other kids or people that get into trouble, they do not deserve to have their lives taken away. For whatever reason God needed him in heaven and he is looking down on everyone. My prayers are with his family and friends..and especially his kids.

Sharon & Kyle,I can't imagine losing a child in any setting, let alone being murdered while in a prison, being "guarded". It's such a tragic loss of someone that young with their whole life ahead of them in only 3 years. Words can't describe the anger and frustration of the situation. It sounds as if Brad was tring to get an education with his GED as well as develope an interest in horticulture. It really seems as though he had a plan for the future. He would have had a chance to make a difference in his 2 little children's lives, It's the sort of thing to provide the motivation to get his life turned around, but we'll never get the chance to see his life and family unfold. Our love and prayers are with all of you and your families. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help out.All our love and prayers,Elmer, Chris, Sue, Kim, Lori, all their husbands, and the grandkids

Dear Sharon, Of all the things we have done together in life, School years pranks (mad dog schubert sign on one of your dads dog trophys in our locker, shooting peas across lunchroom and then having to clean them up with the school on the bleachers watching us, dog biting you on the but in WV. )and 5 flat tires on pinto in one day manny more memories but none so great as me being blessed enuf to be with you when you gave birth to Brad , I never thought we would have to bury one of our children before we were gone our selves. Your pain I can not begin to imagine. Iam soooo sorry for the senseless lose of Brad. May he know true peace in Gods loving hands. maybe someday we will not know all this pain and sorrow in our hearts and God will let us be with him again until then I know Brad will be watching over all his loved ones. I love you, connie

Hamlin Family-The night Donna called to relay this terrible news to my mother I cried. What a horrible ending to a young man that I have known his entire life. I remember Brad as a little baby and then as a toddler running around my parents house getting into everything. And then one day he just grew up and he would always come back and visit always polite, always with a smile and a hug for everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of sorrow and pain. I cannot even imagine what you are feeling. Please know that my entire family are here for you all if you should ever need us. I just trust that God will heal the emptiness that now is there. With Love,Louis, Tamara, and family RoweLarry, Pat, and Bryan Beitzel
