BETTY JANE DAY

Betty J Day passed away on July 26 of 2021 at her home. She was born in Omar, West Virginia on August 11th of 1935. She retired from General Motors. She enjoyed being with her family, going camping every summer, bowling with her friends and family, and really enjoyed making big meals everyday for her family.

She was survived by her 3 children: Son, Jack Day of Chardon, Ohio, and her 2 Daughters, Janet Kula (Chafin) of Iowa, and Doretta “Dodie” Frantz of Rock Creek, Ohio. Her Sisters: Doris Maynard (Chafin) of Indiana, Lila Maynard (Chafin) of West Virginia, Linda Morgan (Chafin) of West Virginia, her Brother, Billy Chafin of West Virginia. She has 7 Grandchildren, 22 plus Great Grandchildren and 13 plus Great Great Grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews.

Preceded in her death were her Parents Josh and Eva Chafin, 4 Brothers Josh “Buddy” Chafin, Fred (Hogan) Chafin, Charles “Eddie’ Chafin, and Kenneth “Whiz” Chafin, a Sister, Eleanor (Glenn) Holcombe, her Husband Jack A Day, Nephew, Jackie A. “Jack” Day, and son in law Michael “Mutt” Frantz.

Private services have been held.
