Barbara Tucker Unangst

Mrs. Unangst worked as an Administrative Assistant for Insurance Agencies before retiring after 20 years of service. When living on the “Cape”, she and her husband of 64 years enjoyed walking along the Cape Cod Canal. Mrs. Unangst served as the first treasurer for Hanover Chapter, Eastern Star, Mass. She was very active with the girl scouts. She will be greatly missed by her family and her friends at the Residence of Chardon. She is survived by her daughter Susan M. (Stephen) Einhorn of Chesapeake, VA, son Alan C. (Deidre) Unangst of Burton, OH, grandchildren Eric (Michelle) Unangst of Twinsburg, OH, Kurt (Joanna) Unangst of Grand Rapids, MI, Katrina Unangst of Avon Lake, OH, Kyle (Emily) Unangst of Canton, OH and Heather (Cris) Corder of Killeen, TX;great grandchildren Emma, Elisa, Koen, Anneke, Eli and Everett Unangst; Brooke, Beax, Valen, Garon and Alaina Corder. Her husband Royal Levi Unangst, Jr.whom she married August 3, 1947 in Hanover, MA, preceded her in death November 30, 2011. Her loving grandchildren Corey and Nora Unangst, parents Percy Charles and Mollie Elizabeth (nee: Stitt) Tucker and brother Robert Tucker are also deceased. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until the time of the service, 8:00 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home. Private family burial will take place at Claridon Center Cemetery.
