Annette Manning, of Burton Village, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 13, 2015 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Euclid. She was 76 years old. Annette was born on May 24, 1938 in Burton Village, daughter of Charles and Alyce Smith. She lived in Bedford for many years before returning to the area in 1974. Annette was a devout Christian and a talented artist. She had many friends and was very active in local Al-Anon meetings. She was a graduate of Hiram College and the Chautauqua Institute. Annette will be missed dearly by her friends and family including her loving daughters: Cheryl (Tom) Anderson of Garrettsville, Sweeter (Pierre) Hodgins of Troy Township, Laura (Paul) Dannemiller of Munson Township, Holly Lynn of Burton, Michelle (Colby) Hopkins of Troy Township, grandchildren: Halley, Sarah, Melanie, Abbey, Emily, Jonathon, Scott, Callie, Andrew, Owen, Clare, Sadie, Anthea, great-grandchildren: Billy, Adlee, Nabil, sisters: Mary Jacobs, Eileen Lowe and boyfriend: Ronald Keller. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alyce (nee: Bixler), brother Chuck, and sister Susie. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday February 16 at 7pm at Burr Funeral Home, Chardon, Ohio 116 South Street Chardon, Ohio 44024 (500’ South of Rt. 6/Chardon Square). Visitation is Monday from 4 to 7pm at the funeral home. A private family burial will be at Welton Cemetery in Burton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Burton Public Library, P.O.
