Another Chardon Legend has left us. So many of us have so much to thank Mr. Gullo for. He was a role model and an instrumental part of so many of our lives for many many years. He made a lot of us better people as we grew through our adolescents. Thank you Mr. Gullo and a special thank you to the Gullo family for so graciously sharing him with us for so many years.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of Coach Gullo. What a tremendous man and asset to our community. He coached and influenced so many tough Hilltoppers over the years.

I was so sad to read this in the paper today. Mr. Gullo was a great man and a great teacher, mentor to kids within the sports programs in Chardon. But Mr. Gullo’s passion was football, and I still can remember the first time I met Mr. Gullo. He coached a couple of my sons and I will never forget this man.. He was a special man, and payers go out to the whole family…

My thoughts and prayers for the entire family. I didn't know Mr. Gullo as a young girl growing up in Chardon but I got to know him when he moved into Maplewood Assisted Living Center. What a pleasure he was to talk to. He was always smiling and happy and always participated in the exercise class! I will miss his smiling face and his big hello. I will miss seeing Mrs. Gullo on her visits too. God bless you Melinda, Mark and Montey. Never met you Montey but I'll tell you that he held onto a card you sent with a wolf on it for along time.
