William E. Shinault age 93 of Hambden Twp. died February 22, 2015 at Lake West Hospital. Born March 26, 1921 in Max Meadows, VA to Budford and Nannie (nee: Ginson) Chinault; he had been a resident of Hambden since 1970. Bill served in the US Army during WWII after which he married Ellen Hurley on Jan. 17, 1948. Survivors include his wife Ellen (nee: Anderson) Shinault of Hambden; step-son Lloyd (Suzie) Hurley of Grove, OK; step-grandchildren Anthony (Donna) Hurley of Toms River, NJ, Carolyn (Jerry) Flanagan of Painesville, Keith (Eula) Helmandollar of Cleveland, Lisa Gammel of Akron and Anita (Terry) Zagar of Claridon Twp and many step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Doug Chinault and half siblings Bonnie Goad and Donnie Chinault. Visitation will be from 1 to 3:30pm on Wednesday Feb. 25, 2015 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South ST. (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, OH. A funeral service will be held at 3:30pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. A burial will take place on Friday at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin, VA.
