William A. Dysert age 87 of Chardon passed away May 23, 2016 at Chardon Healthcare. Born August 28, 1928 in Chardon to Arthur and Martha (nee: Welk) Dysert, he had been a lifelong area resident. Bill was active in the Geauga Senior Center and enjoyed music, especially playing his harmonica and dulcimer. He will be remembered as being a man of faith and always positive. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family on the patio and back deck, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grand and great-grandchildren. Survivors include his children Deborah (Ann) Cox of Waterford, MI, Gary (Dorothy) Dysert of Claridon and Daniel Dysert of Wickliffe; grandson William “Bill” (Kali) Dysert of Claridon and great-grandchildren Breana, Molly and Michael Dysert and Jaiden Freeman. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane “Molly” (nee: Kinnaird) Dysert; granddaughter Jamie Dysert and sisters Ruth Daniels and Betty Stillisano. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Chardon United Methodist Church, 515 North Street, Chardon, OH. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the church with burial to follow at Chardon Municipal Cemetery.
