Wanda J. Ash (nee: Dines)

Age 85 of Chardon, died Sunday, June 25, 2017 following complications from a long series of illnesses. Wanda was born December 28, 1931 to Otis and Corabelle (Armstrong) Dines and was a lifelong area resident.

As a 30-year employee of Lawyers Title in Chardon, Wanda was known to many. She was a long-time member of Pilgrim Christian Church in Chardon. Wanda never met anyone she did not like. Her gifted cooking and baking talents brought her family together many times while she passed her knowledge on to others. Wanda and her husband Raymond’s unselfish generosity was quietly known to many.

Survivors include her daughter Victoria (Raymond) Fink, grandsons Adam and Nicholas Fink, “granddaughters” Diedre Lisk and Allison Ellenberger, brothers Gary (Marlette) Dines, Earl (Lori) Dines and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond of 38 years, her parents and sister Gloria Dines.

The family thanks so many that cared for her along the way. These caregivers and friends will never be forgotten.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 28 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon. A private family burial will be held.
