Sue Carol (nee:Kirkpatrick) Walker, Age 80 of Munson Twp., died June 1, 2017 at UH Geauga Medical Center, Claridon Twp. Born November 22, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio to Guy and Rose (nee: Fioretti) Kirkpatrick, she was a lifelong area resident. Sue is a graduate of Chardon High School and a member of the Church of St. Mary. She and her husband owned and operated the former Midway Inn in Munson Twp. for 15 years. She enjoyed gardening and butterflies.

Survivors include her children, Denise Friend, Kirk (Denise) Walker, both of Munson Twp. and Rick (Beth) Walker of Perry Twp. grandchildren Kirk Jr., Cody and Logan Walker and Joey and Nicky Walker and sister in law, Vickie (David) Nicholas of Chardon. She was predeceased by her parents and husband Richard “Dixie” Walker and son in law Bob Friend.

The family will receive friends from to 4:00 on 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon. A Funeral Srvice will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Funeral Home with burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Twp.

What a loss to so many people who knew Sue. She is a Kind, loving, warm lady and She raised some truly wonderful children. She will continue to live on through them.
