I can still hear you laughing, I miss the good times we all had together, they shine so much brighter in my memories than the bad. It’s crazy that yesterday you would have been 39. I imagine the hard time I would have given you for being the first to turn 40. Of the jobs I’ve held over the last decade, that crappy gas station job was my favorite. You somehow made that fun. I can still see you coming out of the freezer with that towel you froze to turn into a hat, I don’t remember what you were saying but it was funny. Dude, you were such a weirdo, it was hilarious. There aren’t enough people like you left in this world anymore. I remember being broken hearted by some jerk and you told me if he didn’t like me for who I really was, then he wasn’t worth it. I shouldn’t ever hide my true self. Thank you for that. Happy birthday Ryan. I miss you my friend.

Vicki and family,It is with great sadness that I write to tell you of my memories of Ryan as a little boy. When working on the board of the nursery school I remember Ryan coming along with Vicki to board meetings and to school with Eric. I remember what a beautiful little boy he was and send prayers to all of you in this time of great sadness. You are in my heart Vicki, and in my prayers. It has been a long time, but my fond memories still survive. Stay strong and know that I send prayers your way to all of you. God Bless and give you peace.Connie Eldridge

I worked with Ryan at the Getgo a few years ago, great guy to work with and we had a lot of laughs. Talked a lot too. He made 3rd shift go by quickly. I'm glad I got the chance to know him.

Ryan,I knew Ryan from my daily visits to GetGo. He was always smiling and friendly to all the customers when he worked there. May he rest in peace. The story by A J Starkey brings back memories as well.

Ryan, you were one of the people I enjoyed talking to when you worked at Getgo. You always had a smile upon your face and we had many laughs. It was a pleasure to have known you. You are gone way too soon. Be at peace my friend.

Although it has been many years since we have seen you and your family, Ryan, we will always have such fond memories of the Sever family. I recall one day tending you for your mother. I was on some errands when I stopped at the local Chardon gas station to refuel. You were just a tiny tike sitting in the front seat (that was before air bags and the law prohibiting small children from occupying that seat). I no sooner got out of the car and shut the door when you with your little hand pushed the lock button. My heart was in my throat. I tried talking to you through the window , trying to get you to push the button again...the other direction. I imagine I looked rather funny. You just smiled that cute smile and giggled. Luckily my hubby worked nearby at Chardon High and borrowed a car to come unlock the van. To this day, I still smile and wonder if you really knew what you had done.....maybe you were smart beyond your years! We love you all and will keep you in our prayers. Sometimes it may be easier to learn the things we need to know on the other side of the vail. Love the Starkeys
