Ronald W. Buckley
Age 83 of Chardon, OH, died suddenly November 27, 2017 at home. Born November 23, 1934 in Cleveland to Walter and Theresa (nee: Zalokar) Buckley, he lived in Lyndhurst, OH and Plantation, FL before returning to Chardon 15 years ago. He enjoyed building furniture, wine making, and spending time with his family. He was a skilled cook and baker. Ron was a master builder and enjoyed a career as a construction supervisor in various arenas. He served as a US Army Sergeant and later, on the Chardon Township Zoning Board of Appeals.
Survivors include his wife, Verene (nee: Ventura) Buckley, married since 1994, his son Ronald (Tracy) Buckley, Jr. of Saline, MI, daughter Suzanne (Brian) Moloney of Chagrin Falls, stepdaughters Melanie (Lee) Kilmer of Burton and Holli (Joe) Bruno of Chardon, his brother Daniel (Rejeanne) Buckley of MI, along with 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dolores (nee: Renko) Buckley, his son David, and his brother, Ralph.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North Street, Chardon, OH, on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:30 AM. A private family burial will be held.
