Aunt Carolyn, Ronnie, Lori and family, I want you to know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers. My heart breaks for all of you. I have the fondest of memories of all the many visits your family made from Ohio. It was always the highlight of the summer. Uncle Ronnie was a very wonderful man that always made you feel special. I will always miss him and his sweet smile. He was a wonderful brother to my mom. Thank you Uncle Ronnie. I will keep praying for you. I love you all.

I want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Always looked forward to seeing Ronnie and the family when they came up from Ohio. Ronnie would always make sure that he had a conversation with everyone just to see how life was treating them. One of the many reasons I enjoyed seeing him up in Duluth and the couple of times I visited Ohio. Uncle Ron will be dearly missed by all of us.

Aunt Carolyn.... My words cannot begin to express how sad I am to hear about Uncle Ronnie's passing. I share in your grief, Uncle Ronnie was a one of a kind man!! His soft manner and compassionate smile were always comforting and therefore an Uncle who was easy to love! As a child, I remember how excited we all were when we were expecting a visit from our family in Ohio!!! I hope you can find solace in your memories and knowing that you shared your life with such a wonderful man. I will miss my Uncle Ronnie....... And always keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Even though years pass by between visits, I love Uncle Ronnie and our entire Ohio family very much! I always looked forward to when they would make the long drive to MN, and love the memory of the time we all loaded into the car to drive to Ohio for little Ronnie’s wedding! My favorite memory - that also represents his kindness and love for family - was when he, Carolyn, and little Ronnie drove to Six Flags in Kentucky. I was playing a songwriter's festival there and couldn’t believe they drove all that way just to hear me sing my songs! Uncle Ronnie said he would drive my tour bus when I made it big. :) Thanks for being such a great Uncle and man even with all the miles between our families. Sending extra love and prayers to all of you!

Little Ronnie & Lori...... My words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel!!! I wish I had the words to comfort you; I cannot imagine what you are all going through. Your father, like my father are loving, strong, and loyal men, they are the "rocks" that held our families together during our most challenging times that we have all endured!! I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing and that I cannot be there for the celebration of his life!!! Your father, my Uncle Ronnie will always hold a special place with me. I will never forget uncle Ronnie's compassion and friendly smile!!! You are all in my thoughts and Prayers...... Your cousin, Wendy.

Ronnie was also my older brother. There have been a lot of fond memories over the past 68 years that I have known him, to many to mention. What I cherish most is that he was a most kind, caring, and considerate man with a lot of compassion. I am proud to have had him for my brother, and I am going to miss him. My prayers now are with Carolyn, little Ronnie, Laurie, and his grandchildren.

John and I will miss Ronnie very much. We are so glad that Ronnie and Carolyn came to visit us last winter in Arizona. Ardis and Floyd and John and I and Ronnie and Carolyn all worked together tiling our kitchen backsplash and floors. Lots of good food and Ardis"s lemon bars! It's always hard to lose a family member but we know he is in good hands and is at peace.

I am going to miss my Uncle Ronnie. Growing up, whenever family reunions or events were being planned, I remember always asking – are Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Carolyn coming? I would look forward to their visits and to seeing our cousins from “far-away” Ohio. I have great memories of the stories and laughter that our family shared when everyone was together. I am so thankful that Bill and I got to visit Uncle Ronnie, Aunt Carolyn, Lori, Ronnie, Linda and the kids in June, and to share some more laughter and stories (and Ardis’s lemon bars!) with them. We are sending our love, prayers, and hugs to the whole family.

Ronnie is my older brother, and I always looked up to him. I love him and will miss him so very much. He has been a great brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He was so blessed to have such a wonderful wife in Carolyn, loving children, Ronnie and Laurie, a caring daughter-in-law, Linda, and adorable grandchildren, Lindsey and Ryan. Bob and I always loved their visits to Duluth, and we will cherish those memories. There are no words to describe the kindness in Ronnie’s heart, and the love he had for his family and friends. He will be sincerely missed.

What can you say about losing your big brother, the big brother that protected you when you were little, from people hurting you. As the years past we seldom saw each other but you were always in my heart. I am so happy we were able to have a last phone call, You were a great man both to family an friends. Carolyn my heart goes out to you and your family.

Ronnie is my Brother, I am heartbroken over his death . he was an amazing Brother and a wonderful family man. We have enjoyed the many, many years he and Carolyn and their Children Ronnie and Lori have traveled to Duluth to visit everyone. What a lovely Family , we loved them and always looked foreword to their visits. After his retirement we would meet Ronnie and Carolyn in Texas or Arizona, spending time with Sharon, Marlene and Mom, the last few years with John and Dinah and even Sandy and Bob one year. Last January we made it to Las Vegas to see Donnie and his Girls. Our Brother Bob and Linda would see them in Duluth. One of Ronnie's Favorite destinations was Quartsite Az. [A huge flea mkt.] where he would buy supplies for jewelry making. Ronnie was very talented and could spend hours crafting earrings and other pieces of jewelry. We always had a good time with lots of laughter. There is so much more I could say about what a good person he was. Ronnie was admired, respected and LOVED, Our Prayers are with them. We Will Miss Ronnie Dearly. Ardis and Floyd
