Robert Condon

Robert R. Condon age 77 of Burton Was born on June 21, 1934 in Clearfield, PA. He was called home to be with the Lord on October 7, 2011 at UHHS Geauga surrounded by his loving family.Bob worked as a Tool and Die Maker. He married Shirley Clark on April 11, 1955 in Pennsylvania. Bob served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He loved golf and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Bob coached Geauga County youth baseball in the 70’s. He was a member of Chardon Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Shirley of Burton, 3 Sons: Bob (Chris) of Chardon, Rick (Susan) of West Chester, OH, and Ron (Monique) of Chardon, grandchildren: Jackson and Catherine, brothers: Harvey (Jeanne) of Munson, PA and David of Maytown, PAHe is preceded in death by his parents: Clyde and Annie Condon.Funeral service is Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 7:00PM at Chardon Baptist Church, 383 Wilson Mills Rd., Chardon with Pastor James Hayes. Visitation is 2-5 PM on Tuesday at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, (St. Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.Private burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, ChesterlandMemorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Assoc.
