Robert “Bob” A. Jefferson, Age 50 of Newbury Twp., died October 14, 2017 at Hospice House, Cleveland. Robert “Bob” A. Jefferson, Age 50 of Newbury Twp., died October 14, 2017 at Hospice House, Cleveland. Born December 3, 1966 in Cleveland to Harland and Mary (nee: Taylor) Jefferson, he has been a lifelong area resident. Bob was an avid fisherman, liked watching drag racing and NASCAR. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was a long-time employee of Notre Dame Cathedral Latin in the maintenance department and school bus driver.

He is survived by his daughter Caitlin Rose of Newbury, granddaughter Carmen, his parents, siblings Allan D. (Jeanne) Jefferson of Chesterland, Jennifer (Andy) Matlack of Parkman and Mary Beth (Rich) Lombardo of Aurora and nephews Robert “RJ”, Ethan and Kaden and Tony and Vincent.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 18 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (on St. Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, followed by a Memorial Service at 8:00 PM. Private family burial will be held at Munn Cemetery, Newbury Twp.
