Robert A. Bob Friend

Bob was a Mill Right for Gold Key Processing in Middlefield for 6 years. He also worked for Amweld Building Products in Garrettsville, OHBob enjoyed working with small engine repair, as he did with his father. He was very proud of his vegetable garden and was very meticulous about his yard work. He loved his Harley-Davidson’s and his close companion “Harley”. He was a people person and would always bring a smile to your face. He enjoyed playing practical jokes on anyone. Bob had a great love for his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Denise (nee: Walker) Friend of Munson Twp., OH, whom he married September 2, 2000 in Chardon, son Eric McClane of Garrettsville, OH, sisters Dolly (Tom) Roman of Lake Milton, OH, Mary (Tex) Grabill and Sue Harris, both of Garrettsville, OH, brothers Tom (Sandy) Friend of Ravenna, OH, Ken (Kay) Friend of Windsor Twp., OH, sister in law Sandy Friend of Rootstown, OH, Several nieces and nephews and his faithful companions Harley and Haley. His daughter Carrie Sue, parents Thomas and Della (nee: Solomon) Friend, sister Patty Collins, brothers Charlie and Fred Friend, brothers in law Bub Larson, Norm Collins and Don Harris, Jr., nieces Theresa Delessio and Kim Porcase, nephews Kevin Collins, Chris Buczek and Carl “Butchy” Walker, and faithful companions Bear and TC are deceased.
