Raymond S. Sulak, Sr., Age 78, of Munson Twp., passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home, Monday, July 24, 2017. Born September 14, 1938 in Cleveland to Robert J. and Jennie (nee: Ottowski) Sulak, Sr., he has lived in Geauga County since 1968. Ray was the Computer Manager for the former Magnus Distribution for 35 years before retiring. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying boating on his boat named “X-Ray-Did”, fishing, hunting, camping and he owned and rode horses. He was a member of VFW Auxiliary #6519, Chardon, and Fairport Harbor Yacht Club. He was a 1958 graduate of Benedictine High School and attended John Carroll University.
Ray is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janice (nee: Scully) Sulak of Munson Twp., children Raymond S. (Carolyn) Sulak, Jr., of Port Orchard, WA, Charlene Sulak of Mentor and Sharon (Michael) Redenshek of Galloway, OH, grandchildren Emily Rose and John Michael Redenshek of Galloway and Steven Sulak of Port Orchard. He also leaves his siblings Phillip (Karen) Sulak of Painesville, Gregory (Laura) Sulak of Lyndhurst and Arlene Tomaszewski of Cleveland and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother Robert, Jr. and brother, Gary.
A Celebration of Life and “Last Call” Party was held on Saturday, July 22. A private family burial was held. Burr Funeral Home, Chardon in charge of arrangements.
