PHYLLIS E. LITTLE (nee: Woodrich)
Age 95 of Munson Twp., died Saturday, December 30 at Blossom Hill Care Center. Born February 7, 1922 in Cleveland to Frederick and Edith (nee: Bosch) Woodrich, she has been a lifelong area resident. Phyllis was a member of Claridon Congregational Church, active in Women’s Fellowship, she volunteered for Geauga Medical Center, Care Corp. and Meals on Wheels. Above all, she was a wonderful cook and homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Darrel J. Kangas of Munson Twp., sons Joseph (Susan) Little of Concord Twp. and Jonathan (Charlene) Little of Painesville; grandchildren Andrew (Janice) Little Hattisburg, MS, Arthur (Shelly) Little of AR, Shannon Waida of Mentor, Amanda (Daniel) Dirlam of Clyde, OH, David Kangas of AL and Kevin Kangas of Munson Twp.; 10 great grandchildren and her sister, Louise Mikita of Mayfield Hts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Darrel and her son James.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (on St. Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, Funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM. Private family burial will be in Claridon Center Cemetery.
