Age 87, of Chardon, OH, passed away comfortably and peacefully on Monday, Oct. 27, at her residence surrounded by her family.  She was born on March 30, 1927, in Euclid, OH, to Roy D. and Bernice (Nee: Diltz) Bundy.

Patricia was a graduate of Shore High School and Purdue University, then married Irving C. Diemer Jr. on Sept. 9, 1950, in Euclid. They lived in Lyndhurst and Gates Mills prior to moving to Chardon.

 Patricia served in the US Navy Reserves, was a member of the Town and Country Garden Club and the Gates Mills Community Club.  She was an avid reader of mysteries, and enjoyed gardening, piano, knitting, bridge, puzzles, her pets and entertaining family and friends in her home.  At Maplewood at Heather Hill (formerly The Liberty) she was chairman of the Residents Committee for 7 years.  Most important was enjoying her family and all their creative activities and pursuits.  Her generosity, support and friendship was shared with many.

 Survivors include her husband, Irving C. of Chardon; 2 daughters: Lori Diemer of Willoughby and Dyan (Kevin O’Donoghue) Diemer of NYC, NY; 1 son, Dale C. (Laura) of Hambden Twp., 2 granddaughters, Hannah and Hayley Diemer. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Kurt, and sister, Iris Ryder.

A CELEBRATION OF HER LIFE will be held at Maplewood at Heather Hill, 12350 Bass Lake Road, Chardon, OH, at 3 – 7 PM on Sunday, December 21, 2014.
