Patricia Ann Deia passed away peacefully at age 80 in Briar Hill Care Residence on January 26, 2017. Born November 15, 1936 to George and Doris Deia (deceased), she was a lifelong area resident and lived with friends at Hambden House for many years. She attended Metzenbaum Center, participated in the Special Olympics and worked at various packaging workshops.

Pat enjoyed singing, listening to her favorite music, playing the piano, celebrating special occasions with family, playing board games and collecting dolls.
Her laughter, joy of life’s simple things and love of family and friends were her most endearing traits.

She will be sadly missed by sister Deanna Ruple and brother-in-law Richard Ruple of Ontario, Canada, sister Gail Huntoon of Mentor, Ohio and sister-in-law Claudia Deia of Oak Park, Illinois, predeceased by brother Don Deia. Aunt Pat will be fondly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service to be held at 5:00 p.m at the Burr Funeral Home,  116 South St. (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, Ohio 44024.
