Olga A. (nee: Kovalevich) Clifton, Age 88, of Thompson Twp., a homemaker, passed away March 23, 2015 at UH Geauga Medical Center. Born March 28, 1926 in Lynch, KY to Wasil and Mary (nee: Danish) Kovalevich, she had been a longtime area resident. Olga, along with her three sisters, was an RN. She enjoyed oil painting, gardening and her cats. Her greatest joy was spending time with her friends and family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her children M. Susan (Terry) Zion of Claridon Twp., William (Mary) Clifton of Munson Twp. and daughter-in-law Lynn Clifton of Montville; grandchildren: Kristen (Chad) Bass, Jennifer Mittower, Gina Harper and Lisa Clifton; 8 great-grandchildren and friend Laura Reardon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vernon Clifton, son Richard Clifton and granddaughter Allison Mittower. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South ST. (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, OH. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, March 30, 2015 at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North Street,Chardon, OH, 44024.
