Nancy L. Winters (nee: Strong)
Age 85 of Montville Twp., died peacefully October 31, 2017 at her home. Born in Chardon March 26, 1932 to Harold and Helen (nee: Quiggle) Strong, she has been a lifelong area resident. Nancy loved her 2 dogs, Barney & Maddie. She also loved to fish, dance, mowing her lawn and planting her flowers every spring. Her yard was her pride and joy. Nancy had a huge heart and saw the good in everyone. Over the years she worked at Finch Cleaners and Structural Fibers.
She is survived by her children Terry (Lori) Winters of Hambden Twp., Tom (Debi) Winters of Hambden Twp., Jan (Harold) Kellogg of Hartsgrove, Ted (Jill) Winters of New Lyme and Jill (Billy Martinek) Winters of Ovilla, TX, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings, Priscilla Carlson of Munson Twp., Richard (Lorraine) Strong of Canada and Dennis (Brenda) Strong of Tyler, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Winters, her son Tim Winters, her grandsons TJ Winters and Adam Cupp.
The Burr Funeral Home, Chardon, handling the arrangements. Private family Interment will be in Chardon Municipal Cemetery.

My dear sweet friend, You can finally rest in peace. I will always remember the good times we shared, You could say like you were my sister that I never had. I will miss your sweet smile and laugh, and boy did we do a lot of that. You help me out of a lot of bad situations and listen to my problems with always a good solution.
