Brenda, Matt, Connor and McKenzie, So, so, sorry for your loss. Words cannot describe the shock of hearing of your husband and father's passing. Mike was ALWAYS at every sporting event for games when he could be there, front and center cheering on his pride and joy---seeing his talented children play!!! It was a delight to see him get so excited when for example Connor would make a strategic play that put Chardon High School Football team on the scoreboard! Even if it was an assist in the play to get the point. It didn't matter, he was so into the game and the fact of seeing his children play competitive sports was a delight for him. He lit up like a Christmas tree!!! Brenda, how can mere words convey our utter shock and sadness of the passing of your dear beloved husband? The "couples night" for Valentines Day, a few years back, at Impact Church was a fun event...and Mike just doted on you! It was so romantic and precious to behold. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May the grace of God, through His Holy Spirit comfort you at this time that no one else can. Blessings and cling tenaciously to the precious memories and strive for the high calling of your faith, that this is just a stepping stone into the eternal life of Heaven. "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8, KJV. Don and Kathy Baird and family
