Mary Susan Wozniak Schiele

Mary Susan Wozniak Schiele, Age 80, of Concord Twp., OH, died on Thursday, July 6,2017, at her daughter’s home surrounded by her children. She was born in Cleveland, OH, on July 22, 1936, to Joseph and Helen (Nee: Twarogowski) Wozniak. On August 16, 1958, she married Christian “Chris” Schiele in Chardon. Mary was a 67-year resident of Chardon prior to moving to Concord Twp. 2 years ago and was a long-time member of the Church of St. Mary in Chardon. She had taught CCD/PSR at St Mary’s, and had worked at API in Chester and at the Rimes Trucking Company in Chardon. Mary enjoyed taking long walks, playing with her friends in their canasta group, puzzles, and watching classic movies. She loved most, her time with her family and grandkids.

Survivors include, 3 daughters, Katherine Schiele of Concord Twp., Deanna Habat of Painesville Twp., and Nadaleen (James) Brady of Painesville Twp.; son, Christian R. (Betsy) of Painesville Twp.; 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Maxwell, Veronica, Jenna, C.J. and Kaylee; sister Arlene Roland; and 3 brothers, Alfred, James and Daniel Wozniak.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Christian; 2 sisters, Katherine Janek and Nancy Schiele; 2 brothers, Raymond and Frank Wozniak; son-in-law, John E. Habat III.

VISITATION will be on Sunday, July 9, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. Chardon, OH. A FUNERAL MASS will be held on Monday, July 10, 10:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon, OH. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Twp., OH.
