John Gates left a message on July 7, 2012:
I will miss my cousin, Mary Ann (daughter of Aunt Isabel and Uncle Ed Miller). Mary Ann had a beautiful smile, and was always cheerful and upbeat. She was warm and welcoming on my visits to the Ft. Myers area, on one occasion cooking me a delicious Italian seafood dish and baking me a Key Lime pie! Mary Ann took such joy from her family, and of course loved the grandchildren and families. Mary Ann loved literature, and was a sensitive and well educated teacher. I will miss our conversations, as she was my primary link to the history of the Miller clan, in Wales and the U.S. Mary Ann, your presence is felt in our hearts. Love, John and Linda Gates

Mrs. Babcock and my mom, Marion Collier, taught at Burton High school at the same time. I will always remember how lively Mrs. Babcock was. And the friendship she and Betty Button shared was so very special. My condolences to her family.
