Mrs. Hanobik worked as an assembler at the former L.F.E. Corporation in Chesterland until her retirement after 13 years of service. She was a member of the L.F.E. Retirees Club, the Fairport Harbor Slovenian Club, Knights of Columbus Isabella Auxiliary Post #3304, and served as auxiliary treasurer for 7 years. She also belonged to the Senior Ladies Bowling Team. During World War II she served as an Air Raid Warden, however, she never had to use it. She enjoyed crafts, baking and playing cards. Survivors include her son Ronald (Michele L.) Hanobik of Chardon Twp., daughter Diane M. (Alan) Moore of Munson Twp., grandchildren Scott (Lisa) Moore of Mentor, Stephen (Mary) Moore of Concord Twp., Shawn (Kelli) Moore of Concord Twp., Jonathan and Rebecca Hanobik of Chardon Twp., great grandchildren Alex, Lyla, Justin and one to be born in November. Her husband, John W. Hanobik, whom she maried in Cleveland, May 24, 1947, preceded her in death September 28, 1999. son Donald Hanobik, parents Anthony and Agnes (nee: Spolar) Mochan1 brother and 1 sister.
