Margaret A. (nee: Foster) Koschki age 98, of Claridon Twp. passed away peacefully at home August 21, 2016.Born, April 6, 1918 in Rising Sun, Ohio to Charles W. and Belva L. (nee Milligan) Foster. Margaret married Mike Koschki on May 5, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio before moving to Claridon in 1952. In 1943 she was in the first class of the United States Cadet Nurse Corp. and eventually became an LPN and practiced nursing for many years to come. Because of her love of music she studied in Japan and spent many of her later years teaching piano and violin. She was also an avid gardener with an extraordinary green thumb.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Cathy A. Koschki, son Michael “Kim” (Barbara) Koschki; grandson, Christopher Koschki, brother, Dick Foster and many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Mike, brothers, Charles and Robert.
Visitation will be held Aug. 25th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, with a funeral service on Aug. 26th at 11:00 a.m. at Burr Funeral Home with burial following at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Road (St. Rt. 306) Chesterland, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Geauga Humane Society or Blossom Hill Care Center in Huntsburg, Ohio in her name.
