Margaret Dewey (nee: Timms), Age 90 of Chardon, died November 30, 2015 at UH Geauga Medical Center. Born June 23, 1925 in Kirtland to Arthur and Goldie (nee: Miller) Timms, she has been a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Dewey was in Quality Control at the former Picker X-Ray in, retiring after many years of service. She was a talented seamstress, she enjoyed gardening, doing word seek and traveling. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Survivors include her son Lee (Karen) Dewey of Burton Twp., 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents and son Eugene “Pete” Dewey and 2 brothers and 1 sister. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Information and condolences online at www.burrservice.com.
