Age 57 of Montville Twp. passed away March 29, 2017 at UH Geauga Hospital. Born April 10, 1959 in Bay City, MI to John and Frances (nee: Whitehead) Furtaw, she had been a longtime area resident. Lynn enjoyed working at Kraft Maid in Middlefield. She loved making others laugh and maintained lifelong friendships. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Rick, socializing, music, local wineries and shopping. Lynn’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters Gina (Brian) Sawyer of Huntsburg and Lisa (Matt Kovach) Clifton of Hartsgrove; grandchildren Anthony, Troy and Stevie Lynn; sisters Mae (Frank) Geistle of Madison, Patricia (Tony) Carlucci of Painesville and Julia (Tom) Johnson of Painesville; brothers Bill (Mary) Stokes of Geneva, David Furtaw of Ashtabula and Virgil (Regina) Furtaw of Thompson; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Richard Clifton. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South ST. (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, OH. A memorial mass will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North Street, Chardon, OH with burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery. Arrangements by Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Chardon.
