Lester E. Ault

Lester E. Ault, Jr. age 88 of Perry, Ohio for the past 7 years and previously lived in Chardon died on July 19, 2012. He was born September 17, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois and soon after moved to Washington, PA.Lester was a machinist at TRW until his retirement in 1981 after 31 years. He married Dorothy Beatty on December 11, 1942 in Washington, PA. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post 0907 in Taylorstown, PA. He enjoyed farming, gardening, camping, and fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.Survivors include his wife, Dorothy B. Ault; children, Dorothy Dale Strike of California, PA, Sharon Kane of Macedonia, OH, Alice Darlene Lucido of Englewood, FL, Crystal Grimes of Painesville, Heather Arotin of Newbury, John Ault of Rome, Matt Ault of Perry; Grandchildren; Ed, Tim, Leah Anne, Donna, Lester, IV, Angela, Michael, Tracy, Jessica, Mike, April, John, Nina, Matthew, and Megan; and many Great GrandchildrenHe was preceded in death by his Parents, Lester and Edna Ault; a son, Lester E. Ault, III; sister, Peggy Rose Ault and brother, Thomas AultFuneral service is Monday, July 23, 2012 at 2:00PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, (St. Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon. Visitation is Monday from 1-2 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chardon Municipal Cemetery.
