I don't personally know the couple, but I live very close to where the accident happened and my husband heard it he was taking the garbage out and heard her screaming in the road for help and in serious pain. This message is meant to cause no pain but since it has happened there is a nagging voice one it's a song "ain't no sunshine when she's gone" and two the sorrow and guilt that is felt from what happened. I'm so sorry for your loss Deann.

I grew up with Nate, Kent's son and I remember Mr Mooney as a funny and all around great person. He always treated me as if I were family and hearing of his passing made me sick to my stomach .. I would like to send my thoughts and prayers to Nate and to Mrs Mooney who is still in the hospital recovering from her injuries. I will always cherish the memories I had with the Mooney's and may Mr Mooney rest in peace.
