Joseph S. “Joe” Pachnowski, Jr., Age 88 of Leroy Twp., died January 30, 2018 at The Lantern of Madison. Born November 2, 1929 in Cleveland to Joseph S. and Stella (nee: Roboski) Pachnowski, he retired to Arizona in 1987 before returning to Northeast Ohio in June of 2009. Joseph S. “Joe” Pachnowski, Jr., Age 88 of Leroy Twp., died January 30, 2018 at The Lantern of Madison. Born November 2, 1929 in Cleveland to Joseph S. and Stella (nee: Roboski) Pachnowski, he retired to Arizona in 1987 before returning to Northeast Ohio in June of 2009. Joe was an outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, camping and hiking. He was a Lab Technician for Lubrizol for 30 years before his retirement. Joe proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, stationed in Germany.
He is survived by his daughter Theresa (Michael) Shaffer of Munson Twp. and granddaughter Lynn (Dave) Peterson of Middlefield and 2 great grandsons, Curtis and Jaxin. He also leaves his siblings Caroline Pachnowski and William (Kay) Pachnowski. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 48 years, Kathleen Y. (nee: Paranish) Pachnowski and sister Lois Pachnowski.
