Mr. Divoky was a Veteran of US Army during World War II. He was an active member of the Church of St. Mary, Chardon, OH and a graduate of Chardon High School. Joe was the family videographer, capturing hundreds of hours of family and travel. He had a very analytical mind and was able to fix anything. He taught his family to work hard, to love the land, to drive a tractor, to farm, to make maple syrup, to travel, to play “66”, to take care of our family and most of all, to pray. He is survived by his wife Wilma (Nee: Malinzak) of Hambden Twp, OH, whom he married November 26, 1949 in Euclid, OH, 4 daughters Rosemary (Eugene John) Spiker of Brunswick, OH, Joan (Mike) Moran of Avon, OH, Carol (Roger) Koch of Reily Twp., OH, Marianne (Paul) Kaiser of Stoneham, CO. and 1 son James (Jan Wood) of Edinburg Twp., OH. He also leaves 17 Grandchildren, 13 Great-grandchildren, 1 sister Lillian (Denis) Grau of Chardon, OH, 1 sister-in-law Frances Divoky of Chardon, OH, 2 brothers-in-law Harry Zimmerli of Willoughby, OH and Robert Lampman of Hambden Twp., OH. and innumerable nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His parents Stephen and Rosalie (Nee:Vostrak) Divoky, 2 sisters Rosemary Zimmerli and Mary Lampman and 1 brother Lou Divoky are deceased.
