Joanne Nancy (nee:Lynn) Grogan, Age 84, an over 60 year resident of Montville Twp., died on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on November 1, 1932.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Grogan (Pablo Villages); sons, John F. (Crystal), Steven D. (Phyllis), Thomas, Michael (Nancy), David (Alma), and Kenneth (Jeanna); 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; sister, Carol Chrisman; life-long best friend, Bunny Styslinger. Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Grogan, 2 sisters, and 4 brothers.
A “Celebration of Life” will be at the Montville Community Center, 9755 Madison Road, Montville, OH, on Sunday, September 17, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Donations suggested to the Montville Fire Dept., at the same address. Prayers for all, may our Father God hold you in his hands of comfort. I remember Joanne many years ago when I was a young mom and bowled with freinds in Huntsburg, had seen her many times at stores since then always had a nice visit when we did!

We are so sorry for your loss. I met a few times and she was a real sweet lady. It's never easy to lose a loved one, I hope you find comfort in all the memories that you have.

Sorry to learn of Joans passing, Peg Warne and I visited her in Florida and she gave me a little model of an armadillo that she made from shells. I shall treasure it even more now. She was a gentle, lovely lady . Rest in peace in the arms of Jesus.

I remember that John and Joanne were never far apart even when we were on fire department together. She was on the ladies auxiliary and bring food and water to us, then joined the department as a fireman. She was always so nice, always had a smile for everyone.
