Jo Ann Ross age 85 of Mayfield died Sept. 17, 2014 at Chardon Healthcare. Born September 23, 1928 in Cleveland, TN to John and Anna (nee: Rose) Boring, she had been a longtime area resident. JoAnn worked and retired from AT&T. She enjoyed dancing, bowling and working at the Hillcrest Hospital gift shop. Survivors include her husband Charles of Chardon; son Terry (Dawn) Ross of Concord; granddaughters Jennifer Ross of Kirtland and Christina (Roger) Schaffert of Chardon; great-grandchildren Brady B. Ross, Halie and Sophia Schaffert; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Joyce Barnes. FUNERALSVC: 12pm Tuesday Sept. 23, 2014 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South ST. (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, OH. Burial will follow at Whitehaven Memorial Park. VISITATION: 10am-12pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
