Jennie A. Pascoe (nee: Varieka) age 60 of Aurora, OH died May 1, 2012 at Hospice House of the Western Reserve, Cleveland, OH, surrounded by her loving family. Born June 11, 1951 in Toronto, Ont. to Stanley and Antoinette (nee: Swartz) Varieka she lived in Newbury Twp. before moving to Aurora in 2006. Jennie Varieka married James L. Pascoe June 12, 1982 in Cleveland, OH. Jennie and Jim, owned and operated The Bell Station in South Russell. Their customers were like family to them making their work a joy, not a job. Jennie loved her friends, family and animals and they in turn loved her. Not surprising because she was an easy person to love. She possessed that intangible quality of making those around her feel good about themselves. She will be fondly remembered for this. Jennie loved to spend the winters in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico with all her condo buddies. She is survived by her husband James “Jim” L. Pascoe of Aurora, OH; sister Vida Zegarac of Hudson, FL; niece Andrea (Aaron) Kasper of Euclid, OH; nephew William (Katy) Conklin of Geneva, OH; step children Dr. Kevin (Sara) Pascoe, DPM of Manchester, NH, Kori (Scott) Peetz of Hudson, OH and Kristi Pascoe of Kent, OH; step-grandchildren Saran and Ryan Peetz. Jennie was preceded in death by her parents and brother in law Robert “Bob” Zegarac. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 7, at 10:30 AM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, (St. Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon. Greg Hayden, a close family friend will be officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A private family burial will be held.
