Jeanette Edith Martin (nee: Drescher), Age 96 of Chagrin Falls, died February 1, 2018 at Briar Hill Care Center, Middlefield. Born March 10, 1921 in Bronx, NY to Charles and Rose (nee: Ciska) Drescher, she lived in many places, including Ridgewood, NJ, Bay Village, OH, Newton, CT, Norway ME and Myrtle Beach, SC before returning to Ohio. Jeannette was a dedicated Homemaker, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
Survivors include her Children, Charles (Rose) Martin of Springfield, MO and Marie (Bob) Umholtz of Burton Twp., OH, Grandchildren Eric (Sara) Bell of Dallas, TX, Major Robert (Cpt. Melissa, NANG) Umholtz, USAF of Omaha, NB, Bryen C. Umholtz of Arlington, VA, Rachael Fox of Winston-Salem, NC and Sean (Amy) Martin of Springfield, MO, Great Grandchildren Emmalyn, Bobby, Julie Marie, Anders, Arianna and Victoria.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street (St. Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held in Lincoln, NB at a later date.
