JEAN PENTER (nee: Stolarski)
Age 99 of Munson Twp., died July 14, 2018 at the Gables of Kentridge in Kent after a short illness. Born in Cleveland October 12, 1918, she was a lifelong area resident. She volunteered at Geauga Community Hospital for 25 years, was an active member of the Munson Twigs, and a member of the Polish Club. The Penters were very Community oriented and charitable. Jean was an avid reader but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter Judy (Larry) Wilson of CA and son James Penter of Kent, grandchildren Bradley (Kris) Wilson, Zachary (Piper) Wilson, Abby Birk and Ian (Rosemary) Penter, great grandchildren Ryan and Reed Wilson; Chase and Elly Birk and Indigo Penter. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Clement Penter in 1993.
The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday, July 19 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (on St. Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon. The burial will be at 10:00 AM Friday, July 20, 2018 at All Souls Cemetery, (meet at the front gate). The family suggests donations to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, 44110.
