Jean M. Piotrowski age 89 of Mentor passed away October 1, 2015 at her sons home. Born March 14, 1926 in Cleveland, she had been a lifelong area resident. Jean enjoyed volunteering, reading and attending the theater. She would assist members of the Lake County Senior Center with their taxes. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Tony of Florida and Michael (Tammy) of Troy Twp.; grandchildren Brittany (Blake) Mackey, Michael and Christina Piotrowski and great-grandson Corbin Reinhart. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Louis and brother Robert Pastor. Visitation will be from 10 am to 11 am on Monday, Oct. 5, 2015 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South ST. (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, OH. A funeral mass will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, Oct. 5, 2015 at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North Street, Chardon, OH with burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery. Donations suggested to the Sisters of Notre Dame, Chardon Province 13000 Auburn Road, Chardon, OH 44024.
