Janice G. Lipstreuer, age 88 of Chardon passed away August 6, 2015 at her home. Born Dec. 20, 1926 in Cleveland to Ralph and Elsie (nee: Hinski) Gordon, she had been a longtime Florida resident before returning to the area in 2007. Janice was a member of the Chardon United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting. Survivors include her children Debra (Javier) Vasallo of Madrid, Spain, Allyn (Kiyoko) of Mentor and Jon (Anastasia) of Chardon; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Allyn C. Lipstreuer and brother Curtis Gordon. Private family services were held. Arrangements by the Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Chardon. Donations suggested to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
