Dear Betty and family, I have come to love both of you and I will miss Dave very much. He was one of my best friends and I am deeply sorry by his passing. Dave and I had some very good frank discussions and he taught me a lot of life's little ins and outs. He helped me understand how to streamline things and not worry about the small stuff but he was always there to help enlighten me as to the way things generally seem to work out. Dave was a vital component to the Geauga County Board for Health and he always had the residents in mind as he sat on the Board. He was usually spot on with his predictions and very honest in his words. I come to learn many of life's lessons just by talking with him and listening closely to what he said. He was in-tune with the Lord and always willing to laugh and joke when the time was right. He had become a mentor to me and helped me realize that friends are really one of the most important things in our lives. He had a true love of his family and shared all the positives things that were going on. He loved to tell me military stories and the moral of such as well. It is obvious he loved life to the fullest and he was proud of his children's success. His love for Betty (his wife) could not be questioned and he made every effort to provide for the family. I am honored that the family shared this man with me so I too could learn and grow to love him as well. I will deeply miss my ole friend Dave. May God's kingdom be enriched as he entered the gates and we thank God for sharing this man and his knowledge with us here on Earth. God Bless Bob Weisdack

Mrs. Benenati, Todd and family, I had the honor and pleasure of reporting to Dave while employed at Technicare and renewed our friendship while employed at Medical Mutual of Ohio. Dave was a deep thinker, a great person a, my boss and most of all my friend. He will leave a great void on this earth. I learned much from him and he was a true leader. My sincere condolences to you, Todd and your family. Please take some comfort in knowing that you and yours are being prayed for and thought of at this time. I not only respected Dave I loved him too.

Mrs. Benenati, Todd and the boys, David, Paul, Amy and your families - Thinking of all of you. Your husband/dad left a lasting impression - his wisdom and candor made everyone gravitate to him and want to talk to, learn from, and laugh with at all the family parties. He and his presence will be greatly missed. I hope with time, you can find comfort in the memories you built and shared. With love and prayer...
