I babysat for the Thrasher kids in 1958-59. I remember the laughter and happy teasing between Gladys and Chad and him always calling her HB (one day I asked her why she was HB and the amusing explanation) They were a good-looking loving couple with beautiful children. I'm so happy that I saw Gladys a few months ago and had a chance to catch up. My thoughts go out to the family with the knowledge that her wonderful qualities live on in them.

Dear Thrasher family,Although I was very young, I remember your mom practicing with my mom for the Aquarius Club. We recently found a recording of the group and I found it fascinating!! I also remember going into your dad's shop and finding her there too.Know that you are thought of and prayers and thoughts coming your way.Jan Black

Although we did not correspond much, there were many days I thought about you dear Gladys. You were one in a million. The laughs we had while working at the Cancer Society will stay in my memories forever. To the families of Gladys, may your hearts and souls find peace and comfort through your memories. God Bless you all.Cheryl

Gladys was my other mother! My parents, Cliff and Dorothy Wedge were really close to Chad and Gladys. My early memories consist of going to Canada for two weeks every year in which I would play with Chip and Gary. All of the good times at the Thrasher's house and the annual Thanksgiving get together at my parents house was simply special. My sincere and heart felt condolences to the family. She was a special lady.

To all my cousins and family I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many wonderful childhood memories of Aunt Lu, especially of when our family was young and we all spent our Thanksgivings together at her home. She was a lovely person and her sense of humor still makes me smile.God Bless Her and Keep Her Safe.
