“Gabby” Judy Carol Eisler (nee: Herron)

Age 70 of Chardon, Gab went home to be with the Lord very unexpectedly on Sunday, February 5, 2017. Born May 24, 1946 in Chattanooga, TN, to Louis and Katherine (nee: Vandergriff) Herron, she was a lifelong area resident. Judy worked for more than 30 years at St. Gobain Crystals in Newbury Twp. She enjoyed gardening, walking, playing the slots and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Judy was always doing for someone else. She had a huge heart for others. She is survived by her daughters Christine (Charles) Rayl-Juleff and Andrea Kaufman, grandchildren Donald James (Kristen) Ross, Ashley Miller, Katie and Gary Kaufman and great grandchildren Skyler Montgomery, Peyton Ross and Isabella Nemecek, siblings Jeanne Watson, Ken (June) Herron, Keith (Joan) Herron, Teresa Rauch, Sandy (Chuck) Hamrick, former son in law, Jim Ross and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Alice. Judy will give the gift of sight to 2 people.

 The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 on Friday, February 10 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon. A Christian Celebration of her life will be held at New Promise Church, 8671 Kirtland-Chardon Rd., Kirtland on Saturday at 11:00. Private family burial will be held.
