Frances enjoyed reading mystery novels, playing BINGO, and had been a member of the Chardon Eagles.Survivors include 3 Sons, Donald, Jr. of Hambden Twp., Henry of Chardon Twp., and Raymond (Mary) of Hambden Twp., 3 Daughters; Margaret (Mike) Hovanick of Rome, OH, Deborah (Rick) Slabnicker of Minnesota, and Alice (Ron) Stokes of Hambden Twp., a sister, Evelyn Johnson of Madison, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a niece, Linda FedarkoShe is preceded in death by her husband, Donald, parents, Herman and Evalynne Ely, 1 brother, Forest Ely, and 3 sisters; Phyllis Anderson, Patrice DeSanctis, and Carol RiceFuneral service will be March 30, 2012 at 8:00PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, (St. Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.Visitation is Friday from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
