Faye D. BURNETT, age 82 of Middlefield died Oct. 17, 2014 at Briar Hill Healthcare Center in Middlefield. Born Oct. 4, 1932 in Chardon to Carl and Christine (nee: Ryant) Sampson, she has been a lifelong area resident. Faye enjoyed crossword puzzles, going to garage sales and helping Lloyd with the cows; her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of 45 years Lloyd of Middlefield; son Cory (Wendy) Burnett of Windsor; grandchildren Nicholas and Bryan Burnett and Tera Raymond; great-granddaughter Sabella Burnett; sisters Carlene Troutman of Middlefield, Jane Rouch of Cleveland, Shirley McDonald of Florida and Donna Pinzone of Florida; many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Charlie Brown; daughter Marcie Brown; brothers Frank and Robert “Wabbit” Sampson; sisters Ruth Burnett, Joanne Woodall and Doris Rago. The family would like to thank Hospice of Care Corp and the staff of Briar Hill for the compassionate care of Faye. FUNERALSVC: 11am Monday, Oct. 20, 2014 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South ST. (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, OH. Burial to follow at Chardon Municipal Cemetery. VISITATION: 5-8pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
