Eleanor Stark Marx age 82, of Chardon died at her residence on December 15, 2011. Born in Cleveland, OH May 1, 1929 to Nickolas and Barbara (nee: Fuderic) Stark she was a lifelong resident of the Cleveland, Fowler’s Mill and Chardon area. Mrs. Marx worked as a bus driver for Chardon Local Schools for 25 years retiring in 1994 as well as working at the former Bostwick Hardware Store in Chardon, OH. Eleanor Stark married her high school sweetheart, Stanley Marx, at The Church of St. Mary in Chardon, OH, on February 18, 1950. He preceded in death on July 27, 2006. Mrs. Marx was a lifelong member, as an adult, of the Church of St. Mary in Chardon, OH. Eleanor was a graduate (along with her husband) of Chardon High School, Class of 1948. She loved to travel with her husband, and spending the winters in Florida. Mrs. Marx was an avid gardener of both vegetables and flowers, and a talented seamstress.She loved the children that she transported on her school bus. She is survived by her daughter Christine L. Dumas of Batavia, OH; grandson Andre’ Christian Dumas of Cincinnati, OH; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents Nickolas and Barbara (Nee: Fuduric) Stark; daughter Shelley Ann Marx and sister Ruth Kohr.
