Born on March 31, 1940, in Lorain, Ohio, he died on June 28, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years; Dianne M. Banas (Capretta); daughter, Jennifer; 4 sons, Mark, David (Wendy), Daniel (Terry), and Edward Jr. (Angela); 5 grandchildren, Ryan, Brian, Brittanie, Kyle and Jason; 3 great-grandchildren, Lucas, Levi, and Leah; and sister, Beverly Zahorec.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Banas; 3 brothers, John, Richard, Andrew Banas and a sister, Mary Jane Banas.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 13th from 6:00 to 9:00
p.m. at Rosewood Hall, 4493 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, Oh 44053
