On January 24, 2012 Dennis Roeder said good-bye to his daughter Emily; 5 step daughters; Kayla, Julie, Lizzie, Katie, and Racheal wearing no shoes and carrying his guitar with the taste of Ginny’s kiss on his lips went to play the big gig in the sky.Dennis was a register nurse for the past 26 years and was employed by Heath Hill- LTACH for 7 years. His nursing career supported his true love of music. He was the co-creator of Marion Avenue Band with Jason and Erin. Dennis loved to share his knowledge of music with anyone willing to learn. He lived for his trips to Florida, where he could put his feet in the sand and jam with his friend Billy.He is also survived by his brother, Gene Roeder of Willoughby and cousin, Cathy Durst of Kirtland.He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Edith Roeder.A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 6-9PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, Ohio 44024 (St. Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
