David S. Mosher

David Simon Mosher loved life. He was most at home when surrounded by nature. One of his many goals was to plant a million trees which he nearly succeeded in doing. But the most important thing to David was the needs and interests of his family and friends. He was most complete when he could give happiness to those he loved. His own needs were minimal and secondary to those of others.A loving and proud family man, David died at his Munson home on January 1, 2012. He was born in Mechanicsburg, PA on October 9, 1972, and moved to North East Ohio in 2003.David graduated from Rappahannock County High School in 1990, and earned a B.S. in Agriculture from Berea College, in Berea, Kentucky. He worked in Horticulture and Landscaping, spending time constructing exhibits at the Holden Arboretum, and later creating his own enterprise specializing in edible landscaping. His hobbies were blacksmithing, beekeeping, and coaching Soccer. David will be remembered for his playfulness, huge heart, big laugh, and gentle eyes. His generous and caring nature earned him many enduring friendships, and his honesty, integrity, and genuine concern endeared him to all who knew him. His love for, pride in, and commitment to his daughters was well known. David is survived by his beloved Elizabeth Lambert; his two daughters, Liberty MaeRose Mosher of Chardon and Grace Marie Lambert of Pepper Pike, his mother, Carol Harnish of Amissville, Virginia, his father, Paul Mosher of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, his step mother Jean Mosher of Camp Hill, his sister Alison Mosher and brothers Chris Walls and Silas Mosher of Camp Hill and his grandfather Frank Mosher of Mechanicsburg, PA.
